Very helpful list. Thank you. It should be noted, though, that many of the 1 point per slice breads become 3 points if you have 2 slices. The only bread I've found so far that is truly 1 point per slice (so 2 slices is 2 points) is Nature's Own Sugar Free 100% Whole Wheat Whole Grain Bread. It's good, too. 😉

        Hi Steve
Thank you for your comments and the information on Nature's Own Sugar Free Bread.
In the main text of the post I do mention that sometimes 2 slices of bread can be 3 SmartPoints and that unfortunately it doesn't always equate that 2 slices equal 2 SmartPoints etc ????
I will add your suggestion of Nature's Own sugar Free 100% Whole Wheat Whole Grain Bread to the list!

The healthy life 35 calories are 2 points for 2 slices. Most of them, I just wished the bread was softer and tasted better. These others listed I can't find in my area.

Sara Lee's Delightful breads are only 1 point per slice, and 2sp for two slices. It's good, but it doesn't stay real fresh for long....or don't buy it at Walmart. And for the price, (over $4 per loaf) we are going to start looking for something else. Trader Joe's had some one time that I tried that was one point per slice.

Sam’s Club in my area has two loaves of Sara Lee in a package that’s actually cheaper than one loaf at the grocery store. I freeze one loaf and it is fine when I need it.

Thinking about returning to Weight Watchers (Ww) but I am now Celiac since my old meeting days! I used to eat light bread that was 50% less calories!
So an entire sandwich was 1 bread!

I am really struggling to lose weight since I became Celiac and have been gluten free since having my family! The thought of never having bread on Ww is hard to accept because I lost weight years ago eating sandwiches!

Does anyone know of any Ww friendly breads that are Gluten Free? They all seem to be double the carbs of any wheat bread AND half or less of the protein!!!

      Much thanks!!

Thank you for the update Marianne! It's me Tess... I posted way back asking about the gluten free breads. I have since been using the Canyon Bakehouse. The slices are tiny tiny, and 2 points each for tiny (4 points a sandwich before anything is added) is a lot different than 1 pt a slice for wheat, but I have been grateful to have it. It is delicious but mostly toasted (it has a stale texture untested). But it is delicious toasted whole grain and almost nutty in texture. I am now looking at the Simply Balanced bread on the page and wondering if that slice is any bigger. IT would be nice to have a traditional sized slice of bread. Udi's was more traditionally sized but if I remember it was 3 points each!

      Stay safe, and be well!

I make our bread and add whole wheat flour to the white bread flour to make healthier. We slice the loaf and put in the freezer so a slice at a time is available without worrying about having to eat it up prior to getting stale. Used on occasion it is so good and the points are just worked in.

      Love these Lists- Thanks!
Walmart Great Value 100% Whole Wheat Bread is just 1 point (3 pts for 2 slices) on blue and purple (don't know about green). I like that its always available when I can't find some of these others. It's good toasted. Also if you have Aldi, their regular English muffins are 3 pts. I usually eat the Thomas wheat (also 3 pts) but having white bread is like a treat for me!!
