    Trader Joe's for Weight Watchers

If you're lucky enough to live close to a Trader Joe's you'll know what a great grocery store it is for Weight Watchers! The shelfs, freezers and chillers are packed full of interesting WW friendly foods which you'll find difficult to resist!

Whether you follow the Points plan or one of the older WW plans you can check out this list to see what I (and many other people following the plan) think are some of the best Trader Joe's options for Weight Watchers.

So, if you are searching for a lower point cheese, a tasty burger patty or a WW friendly ice cream you will most probably find it at Trader Joe's.

Happy shopping & let me know in the comments below about any of your favorite WW friendly TJ foods you think should be added to this list!

Trader Joe's Part Skim Ricotta Cheese

This creamy and rich ricotta cheese works out at 3 Points per ¼ cup. It can be used in a variety of different ways, from a topping for crackers to a cream substitute for creamy casseroles and desserts!

Trader Joe's EBTB Seasoned Bite Sized Crackers

If, like me, you love Everything But The Bagel seasoning and you enjoy crackers, then you will LOVE these EBTB bite sized crackers. They are 4 Points for 14 pieces and are made with whole wheat flour and topped with garlic, onion, caraway, sesame and poppy seeds.

Trader Joe's Peppered Uncured Turkey Bacon

This Peppered Uncured Turkey Bacon works out at 1 Point per slice. Although not 'real' bacon, it does pack a lot of flavour and if you are craving bacon but don't want to use up your precious Points on the real deal, then this is a good substitute!

Trader Joe's Chile Lime Chicken Burgers

These tasty Chile Lime Chicken Patties worked out at 3 Points per burger. Although they haven't been available in store this year, I'm keeping my eyes open for their return as you get a good burger for your Points.

Trader Joe's Reduced Guilt Chunky Guacamole

No guilt whilst eating this guacamole! Made with Greek yogurt, this chunky guacamole works out at 1 Point for 2 tablespoons. If you can't find the 'Reduced Guilt' version, then grab a pot of the Organic Chunky Homestyle Guacamole which is just 2 Points for 2 tablespoons.

Trader Joe's EBTB Seasoned Smoked Salmon

At just 1 Point for 2 slices this is my favorite smoked salmon to mix with scrambled eggs for a filling and tasty breakfast!

Trader Joe's Chocolate Peanut Butter Lite Ice Cream

You can have half a cup of this tasty ice cream for 3 Points. If you are looking for an ice cream that won't break your Points bank, then you can't go wrong with this one!

Looking for more low Point Ice Creams, then take a look at this list of some of the best available for Weight Watchers!

Trader Joe's Reduced Guilt Mac & Cheese

OK, so most store brought packages of Mac & Cheese are VERY high in Points. Whilst this one isn't low in Points, it may be a little lower than most!! It works out at 9 Points per container. Perfect for when those Mac & Cheese cravings get too much!

What are Jicama Wraps you may ask! Well, Jicama is a root vegetable that has a mild flavour and can be eaten raw as well as fried or steamed. Slices of Jicama can be used as a low carb alternative to flour tortillas. Trader Joe's sell Jicama wraps that work out at zero Points for 2.

Trader Joe's Vegan Mint & Chip Bon Bons

These dairy free frozen desserts are made with coconut milk, flavoured with mint and covered in a chocolate coating. You can eat 8 of them (yes eight!) for 5 Points. Be careful - the Cookies & Cream variety work out at 7 Points for 6 Bon Bons.

Trader Joe's Hearts of Palm Pasta

This Hearts of Palm Pasta divides opinion! Some Weight Watchers love it, some don't! Why not pick up a pack and try it for yourself. It is zero Points for ⅓ of the pack.

    Trader Joe's Riced Cauliflower

If you haven't tried Riced Cauliflower, I urge you to give it a go. I use it in this popular Zero Point Egg Fried Cauliflower Rice recipe and it is delicious. The Trader Joe's riced cauliflower makes it all just so easy! It works out at Zero Points for ¼ of the package.

Trader Joe's Chicken Cilantro Mini Wontons

According to Weight Watchers almost 220,000 members tracked these tasty Chicken Cilantro Mini Wontons in 2019! There is a reason for this - they taste great and they work out at just 1 Point for 4!

Trader Joe's Lite Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Cheese from Trader Joe's is popular with Weight Watchers members. This shredded lite mozzarella cheese works out at 1 Point for 1 oz. Perfect for sprinkling over a low point pizza. Trader Joes Lite 3 cheese blend with Mozzarella, Monterey Jack and Cheddar is also a good choice being just 3 Points per ¼ cup.

    Trader Joe's Egg Wraps

These Egg Wraps can be used as a filling, low point replacement for tortilla wraps and they work out at 2 Points for 2 wraps. They can also be used as a base for a sweet treat.

Trader Joe's Dill Pickle Mini Falafel

Grab these whilst you can! These mini falafels work out at 4 Personal Points for 10 pieces (that's ¼ of the bag). Eat them as a snack or toss them into a green salad. Or my favorite, place five of them in a warmed pitta bread and top with some of this Zero Point Tzatziki!

    Trader Joe's Chocolate Hummus

Now, chocolate hummus is another of those foods that divides opinion in the world of Weight Watchers members! Some love it, some don't. If you don't want to make you own from this recipe, then how about picking up a tub to try! Use it as a dip for sliced fruit or if you have the Points, some Graham crackers! It works out at 2 Points for 2 tablespoons.

    Trader Joe's Jalepeno Sauce

This sauce is hot, so if you like your food with a 'kick' then you are in luck. Hot and creamy, this sauce can be used in a variety of different ways. It works out at 3 Points for 2 tablespoons but a little goes a long way!

I’m very sad to report that the WW bar code scanner is wrong, and that Trader Joe’s Vegan Mint Chip Bon bons are 5 points for each individual Bon Bon. NOT for 8 pieces! Part of the blame belongs to Trader Joe’s, who lists the serving size as the entire box of 8 Bon bons.

Beware: Eight Bon Bons has 560 calories and 42 grams of fat!

re the bonbons... I am reminded of something my mom used to say, "if it's too good to be true, it's too good to be true"

I am so happy WW went “back to basics”! I stopped using WW about 1-1/2 years ago because my plan changed and I was used to having 0 points for fruit. I got aggravated and stopped my subscription. But, as we all know, nothing works as well as WW for losing weight in a healthy way! So last week I decided to start again, and just adapt to the new plan…SO delighted to see they went back to “how things were” - and fruit is ZERO points again! Now to list my last 18 pounds (down 30 pounds from my highest) - thanks, WW! ????

Is Trader Joe’s frozen steel cut oatmeal how many points for weight watchers?
