Zero Point Salad Dressing | Weight Watchers

A jug full of a creamy salad dressing
A glass jug of salad dressing
A jug of zero point salad dressing

This Zero Point Salad Dressing is a must if you are following the Weight Watchers program.

It is zero SmartPoints on myWW Blue plan and the myWW Purple plan and 2 SmartPoints per serving on the myWW Green plan.

If you follow the new WW Personal Points plan, a serving of this creamy dressing will be between 0 and 1 Personal Points. To find out how many Personal Points this recipe will be for you, click on the WW Personal Points button in the recipe card below. You can now even track it in the WW App straight from this site!

A creamy Zero Point Salad dressing to smother on a bowl of salad is something that most people on Weight Watchers crave!

A glass jug full of salad dressing and list of SmartPoint values

A lot of the bottled salad dressings are really high in points.

Some of the Fat Free / Sugar Free dressing alternatives are lower in points and very good but they can contain ingredients/chemicals that I'm dubious about eating (or even pronouncing for that matter!)

I wanted to find a recipe that I could whip up at home with ingredients that I usually have in my fridge.

This one was perfect as every Weight Watcher that I know has fat free Greek yogurt or fat free natural yogurt in their fridge!

This recipe is adapted from a fat free salad dressing by Jamie Oliver.

He uses fat free natural yogurt, but I swapped this for Greek yogurt as that is my preference!

    You could use either.

Cathy. Sorry, yes I meant red chili pepper - my apologies that it wasn't apparent from the recipe! I will amend it now. Kind regards Marianne

I don't understand why lemon is an ingredient. Greek yogurt is already tart. With the lemon this is sour.
I might try again without the lemon, but first batch was not good. Sorry. Thank you for trying.

I'm confused about the coriander as well, like the lady above. I thought maybe you meant fresh coriander, but I couldn't find it at our store. So----if you mean dry, ground coriander--how much is a handful?

Not the same at all. Coriander are seeds, the leaves (CILANTRO), comes from the seeds. Totally different 🙂

Actually, in the UK they use the word coriander for what we in North America call cilantro. Coriander seed is a dry spice. So yes, a handful of coriander is the same as a handful of cilantro.

You can also use i pack of hidden valley ranch seasoning to 16 oz i think of greek yogurt for all your dipping needs or even dressings i guess. 0 points

Totally untrue. The Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning is only 0 points for a teaspoon. Like other things, once you increase the quantities, the point values go up. 4 Tablespoons of seasoning mix is 3 points - for example

But if you use mostly Greek yogurt and very little Ranch dressing then maybe it’s ok?
I use Chobany Greek yogurt and it’s 0 points!

Mine came out kind of watery. I used dried dill (it was all I had). Seems like I could have left out the vinegar. I'll try it again.

This is absolutely delicious and I just bought the ingredients to use as my dressing for salads this week. I love the lemon, mustard, vinegar and garlic combination. I love that adding fat free yogurt makes it creamy and Zero points! This is a huge help for me. Thank you for posting!

Do you have any other of your own salad dressing recipes? I have been on WW for 2 months and I prefer like you to avoid those ingredients I can't pronoounce. I am really enjoying trying your recipes.

For a Caesar dressing, skip coriander and add a dash of Worcestershire sauce, a squirt of anchovy paste, and a T of capers.
Use low carb croutons or a handful of coarsely crushed pork rinds for garnish.
